After the initial inspection, the area is then dry vacuumed to remove any loose soil. This is followed by the pre-treatment on difficult spots. The carpet is then agitated and a combination of hot water and cleaning detergents are injected into the fibers of the carpet, under high pressure, after which the soil and water are extracted by a powerful vacuum. Drying times may vary however you should be able to walk on the carpet within 6 hours. Steam cleaner option available upon request in our carpet cleaning services.

2. Furniture Moving
Please prep the room prior to our technicians arriving. We are happy to move larger items such as couches, beds, tables etc. We just don’t want to have to handle your smaller belongings.
3. Commercial Pre-vacuum
Soil is removed by a commercially powered vacuum. Removing dry soil is, one of, the most crucial steps to achieving a pristine result.
4. Pre-Spot
A Masterguard fabric stain remover is applied to problem areas, spots and stains to improve the chances of removal.
5. Pre-Spray & Scrub
Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solution & agitated.
6. Pre-Grooming/Agitation
A professional carpet groomer and/or rotary brush is used to further loosen the soil from the carpet fibres.
7. Rinse & Extraction
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with a detergent and hot water solution, using a powerful extraction cleaning system.
8. Post-Spot
Any remaining stubborn spots are then re-treated with fabric stain remover, agitated, rinsed, washed and sucked.
9. Post Groom
Your carpet is groomed so that the fibres of the pile of your carpet are standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster, in the right position, leaving a pristine finish.
10. Air Circulation
If possible, we leave windows and doors open to help with air circulation.
Fans and air-conditioners may also be used to help speed up the drying process. Generally allow for up to 12 hours. However you are still able to access the rooms within that drying time without fear of damaging the carpet.
