Rug rejuvenation

The surrounding area is prepped, any obtrusive furniture is moved to a safe distance or the rug is moved to an appropriate area in order to be deep cleaned. If necessary a plastic sheet is laid down and the rug placed on top. Please note this service is done on site at the clients premises.

Soil is removed by a commercially powered vacuum. Removing dry soil is, one of, the most crucial steps to achieving a pristine result.

A Masterguard fabric stain remover is applied to problem areas, spots and stains to improve the chances of removal.

Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solution & agitated.

A professional carpet groomer and/or rotary brush is used to further loosen the soil from the carpet fibres.

The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with a detergent and hot water solution, using a powerful extraction cleaning system.

Any remaining stubborn spots are then re-treated with fabric stain remover, agitated, rinsed, washed and sucked using a hand tool to achieve a top quality finish.

Your rug is groomed so that the fibres of the pile are standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the rug dry faster, in the right position, leaving a pristine result.

If possible, we leave windows and doors open to help with air circulation.

Fans and air-conditioners may also be used to help speed up the drying process. Generally allow for up to 12 hours depending on weather, the rug and living circumstances.
