- What is AirGuard nano-fogging?
- AirGuard uses specialised nano dry-fog technology to disperse formulated treatment solutions throughout a space. AirGuard Africa describes its technology as using plant-derived phytoncides and offers solutions for odour control, air and surface treatment, and pest-repellent applications. The appropriate treatment depends on the product and intended use.
- Can AirGuard treat odours, mould and pests?
- AirGuard offers different systems and formulations for applications such as odour control, microbial reduction and pest repellence. We assess the problem before recommending a suitable treatment. Fogging should not be considered a substitute for removing the source of persistent damp, repairing leaks, cleaning substantial mould growth or addressing a pest infestation through an appropriate control method.
- Are AirGuard products safe because they are plant-based?
- Plant-based does not automatically mean harmless in every situation. Safety depends on the exact formulation, concentration, application and exposure. We follow the relevant product label, safety data and manufacturer instructions, including any ventilation, occupancy or re-entry requirements.
- What is the difference between enzyme treatment, ozone and AirGuard?
- Enzyme treatments target certain organic residues that cause odours. Ozone is an oxidising gas used in controlled, unoccupied-space treatments for selected odour problems. AirGuard uses a specialised fogging system for applications specified by its manufacturer. The right choice depends on the source of the problem, the affected materials and the treatment requirements.
